A Wheelchair faces lots of hurdles through out it's journey . Please read this story of a passionate young boy on wheelchair!
Meet Mr. G. Chandrasekhar Reddy, a resident of , Odisha. He is having 80 percent disability in both of his legs since childhood, and his family preassumed that this boy will be a burden to their family but Chadrasekhar proved the notion of his family and other neighbors to be wrong! He never accepted himself as a burden rather stood as resource to himself despite physical disabilities.
With the support of his father (a poor farmer), he completed Diploma in Engineering in electronic and telecommunications. After his Diploma , the family commented on his disability by saying "Bahut hela,
He now decided to leave home at the age of 10 years . He detached from parent's love affection in childhood for the shake of education from 19 years. He completed matriculation. After that he decided to go for diploma ETC engineering where his had to climb 56 steps per day while carring a bag and broom in one hand and handkerchief in other hand by clearing step by step for 3 years. After completion of diploma he opted for the hardware and networking course and did a part-time job in berhampur. Unfortunately he faced a serious accident and moved to Bhubaneswar, capital of Odisha with lots of dreams in his eyes. According to him in Bhubaneswar he slept in railway station and struggled a lot because he had neither money nor anyone close to help him. Going through odds he cleared entrance for degree engineering and started approaching private Engineering colleges but he was denied because of two reasons ; one is his disability and the other one is lack of finance. But he didn't accept the difficulties here as well.
He started meeting different government officials for justice. Finally, he met to the Commissioner, Secretary of Higher Education, Government of Odisha and persuaded him to help. The intervention of the government and support from a private engineering college fulfilled his dream of becoming a Degree engineer. Now he is in B.Tech. completed
he has been selected in the final list of Mr. Wheelchair, India. He also participated in National Para Athlete Championship. He is also awarded for his Art and Craft work in a national level competition. More over, he received nearly 45 certificates (from RED CROSS) in song, Art and Crafts, Chess, Javelin, discus throw and shotput through etc. He participated in Leadrship training programs for disability by UNICEF, MU VOLUNTEER and BAKUL FOUNDATION etc.
Though he faced lots of hurdles, no other support still due to strong determination, he now started an organization called "WE SPARK FOUNDATION" for disabled people. This organization stands for (1)Economic source (2)Educational research
(3)Marriage proposal (4)Medical research (5)Guest house on capital
(6)Skill training and more.... on ...
While talking to Md. Imran Ali, he wants to add that "he would dedicate his life for the service of the people and particularly give them a social status in various jobs. For this he is trying his best to convince the Government for better resources for disable people. So that no other disable person will not suffer in his or her life anymore in any means. He expresses his deep gratitude to his friends, few officials and well Wishers to give him solidarity in his journey of life.
There is a long way to go. Here, "Salaam Jeevan" salutes to this young talent and pray for his glorious life ahead.
